Outer scale, inner fit

Outer diameter describes the overall size. Inner diameter describes the space inside the hoop and is more useful for checking huggie clearance. Do not treat the two measurements as interchangeable.

Check your placement

Lobe shape, piercing position, hoop thickness, post length and closure all affect comfort. Compare with a pair you already wear comfortably, using the same measurement. The photograph is a styling reference, not a guarantee of how a size will sit.
